tasting at GDBTF on 10/18/08. golden with 1/4" white head. somewhat bitter finish, citrus filled aroma. for a Tripel, it kind of falls flat and dull. Overall it is a very drinkable beer, but not very dynamic. Needs some more spice and flavor.

pours a hazy orange-gold with a thin fading head. Aroma is candy sugar, some peach and apple fruit tones, light citrus. Pale malt. Flavour is a little grainy malt, some thin alc and yeast, slightly spicey finish.

Bottle from Sun Devil in Mesa, AZ. Pours golden amber with a big off-white frothy head; lacing. Aromas of kandi and yeast spice. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavors of pale malt, kandi, and mild spices. A decent essay at a Belgian. Arguably better than New Belgium. Certainly no regrets on the purchase.

Bottle from Utobeer at home. Alround rating: Big yeasty alcoholic notes, big bittering spicey peppery hop character, sweet sugary malts, a typical triple with a insane amount of bottle conditioning.

Dusty, fruity, with Belgian yeast aroma. Candy and sugar on my lips. Fruity, acidic, citrus peel flavors. Almost sticky sweet at the end. Doesn’t define itself from other better known Tripels and it’s lacking something. This is just ok for me.

Clear light orange color with no head. This was raw and unrefined down to the malts. While some may like this bottled before its time taste this was nasty. There was a raw barley and sugar taste to this that was very bad and no amount of bottle -conditioning could cover up. Ugh.

Bottle at EBF 08. Gold, slight haze. Thin white head. Belgian yeast aroma. Great tangerine. It’s then quite soft sherbert hop. Hops are good and balanced tangerine fruit, sherbert hop and Belgian yeast really works. Really interesting.
