It has no bitterness. This is very average. I can’t say much about this one. LilBeerDoctor (1505), East Setauket, New York, USA

Aroma of wheat, fruits (apple, pear) and some spices. Flavor of melon rind, light fruits, spices. Why are the ratings for this beer so low?? Sure, it’s not really like a Belgian tripel, but it’s still a good beer! Nice and fruity and rather tasty. Zbong (38), Lansing, Michigan, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 14, 2008 Pours almost orange juice yellow. Citrus, hops, that is pretty much it. Tastes like a bad ripoff of Stone Vertical Epic. Nothing exceptional. timmy300 (199), bloomington, Illinois, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 14, 2008 Bottle. Hazy gold with a small head. Aromas are caramel and sugar with cream and light citrus. Quite peppery with bubblegum and hints of metal. Flavours are sweet biscuit malts with lots of raisins and berries. Quite vinous with yeast and dry Autumn fruit. Dry and bitter on the finish with warming alcohol. Decent. ante (2942), Stockholm, Sweden
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 13, 2008 Bottled. Pours out in a clear golden colour with a low quickly disappearing white foam. Unrefined sugary and alcoholic aroma of canned oranges with hints of banana. Medium to full-bodied with boozy notes of sugar, canned oranges and raw alcohol. Very clean mouthfeel. Sharp alcoholic finish with touches of candied oranges and a wee hint of banana and esters. A poor excuse for a Tripel JCB (1767), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 11, 2008 12oz bottle from Total Wine, Durham. I had to think hard before pulling the trigger on a 3 for palate. Anyways, a disappointing tripel in most respects. Clear orange pour with big bubbles masking an almost non-existent carbonation - what, a cloaking device? Anyways, the aroma is modest, with a bit of spice coming through in the nose but very anonymously. Watery mouthfeel washes out most of the flavor. A bit of butter, some malt, a trace of citrus. Pretty lame. punkrkr27 (619), Berkley, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Orange-gold pour with no head. Yeasty orange and light citrus aroma with a hint of biscuit and spice. Flavor is mostly sweet biscuit malt with overtones of ripe fruit, citrus, clove, and yeast. Medium body with moderate carbonation. It’s a decent but pretty uneventful tripel.
