The aroma picked up sweet toasted and nutty notes with soft earthy and citrus accents. The flavor was semi-sweet overall with caramel giving the most character.. spicy bitterness and astringency around.. citrus bitterness was crisp right at the finish. Light-medium bodied with some sticky, ugly feel at times across the middle.. again, crisp and rather dry on the finish. Aiight. jbye4334 (710), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Medium off white head. Good roasted malt aroma, but the aroma is misleading. Flavor is pretty plain. Thin texture. Avg duration. Moderate carbonation. Sligthly astringent finish. terrybail (338), London, Ontario, Canada

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 21, 2009 Bottle from a kiosk in Vesterbrogade, Kbh. Shining, orangey-amber color. Dense yellowish head. A strong caramel scent up front, backed by some fruity hops with a metallic accent. Taste has a sweetish caramellish malt flavor, is medium hoppy with a faint roastedness. Mid- to light-bodied. Malty, slight bitter finish. Does not stand out, still a very drinkable one. jcr (1155), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 19, 2009 Bottle. Clear dark amber body with a small, off-white head. Strong malty caramel aroma with notes of husky grain and grass. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body with a syrupy texture and somewhat soft carbonation. Seemed to be lacking the lager characteristics Flying Dog says it has. That aside, it was a nice-enough drinker.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 16, 2009 Bottle. Pours really nice, a brown amber and a medium white head. Aroma i nice a sweet,. . More malty than I would have thought an Amber to be. . and a lot thinner. For me overall, not a lot of flavor and a thin palate. Beerman6686 (1287), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 15, 2009 This poured a cloudy darker orange color with a slightly off white heaad. Aroma was a bit bland, but mainly malty but not sweet or roasted. Flavor was much the same, reminded me a lot of GL Elliot Ness but not as good. arventresca (340), Greenville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 15, 2009 Bottle. Amber with white head. Very smooth beer. Taste is a little hard to get. Drinkable, but not in the same league as other ambers out there. Will try more from this brewer to see whats up.
