Nice and malty, with the distinctive lager taste. Accessible and not too bitter.

One from the vaults, or the backlog rather. This pours a nice clear orange with a big fluffy head that goes away quickly and produced a little lace. The aroma is nicely floral but largely malty with a mild fruitiness. The flavor is caramel with a good dry maltiness and a mild but pleasant bitterness.

Pours a dark to medium bodied amber with a frothy off white/ light brown head. The aroma is sweet of hops, caramel, and honey with a smoky undertone. The flavor is light of caramel with nuts. Crisp and semi dry, sweet and tart.

Pours a nice clear coppery amber with a white head that does not stick around. Aroma is strong and malty with hints of banana and butterscotch. Crisp flavor is mainly malty with some hop bitterness and an undertone of banana. Texture is smooth, fizzy and jazzy. A good choice.

Reddish-amber body with a quickly-disappearing white head. Very sweet aroma with notes of caramel, sweet fruit, and malt. Medium palate with fairly high carbonation. The flavor is pretty much all malty sweetness. Caramel up front leads to an almost artificial sweetness at the end. Somewhat sticky aftertaste. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.

Bottle, pours a medium amber with a smaller head. Smooth on the tongue with hints of malt, caramel, and a bit of hops as well. Easily drinkable, but lacking complexity. Finish is crisp.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malt, nuts and hoppy fruit notes. The flavour is caramel, nuts and fruit. Medium bodied and a slight tartness. Crisp and bitter finish. I like it, a nice beer.
