PPWD Show. I do have to say that I love their labels. The Amber was probably my least favorite of the four that they brought for the show. I am not a huge fan of Ambers anyway. This beer was very earthy both in nose and flavor, grass, straw, dirt. Kind of reminded me of the Kraftbrau beers that now no longer exist.

Pours an attractive amber color with a thick cream white head that lasted and laced the glass well. The aroma was malty, biscuity, and caramel. Taste was rather mild coupled with some malts and a decent hop balance. Some decent grain character was also present.

12 oz bottle; Amber color... of course. Caramel-malt aroma. Flavor consists of a nutty malt that indeed goes down smooth. Finish gives off a little fruit - possibly banana. This beer reminds me of one of the better beers on tap at your local dive bar. Pretty decent.

Bottle: Amber coloured, a bit unclear with a small, but lacy off-white layer; distinctive nutty, toasty nose over a light fruity and hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; moderate nutty-fruity finish with a light bitterness. Quite a pleasant brew.........

I was really looking forward to this beer, but when I tried it, the high taste of alcohol just ruined it all for me.

Nice, smooth round lager with flavors of malt, brown sugar, maybe molasses. Almost like a light Belgian Abbey Double. Pleasant.
