Nice, smooth round lager with flavors of malt, brown sugar, maybe molasses. Almost like a light Belgian Abbey Double. Pleasant.

A good beer, something I would probably session with. Now I have to get to 75 characters to be able to rate this sucker. If you go to a store and are looking for a amber ale give it a try. How’s that for 75 characters?

Pours a light amber with a small white head. Aroma of light malts. Flavor is sweet malt, wet grain, with a little breadiness.

Pours gold-tinged amber into a shaker. Head quickly dissipates to hug rim leaving no lacing. Mild citrus and malt aromas. Sweet upfront with dark caramel turning fizzy in the malty finish.

12oz bottle at home on February 19, 2009. Looks just like a cylindrical block of liquid amber... frothy white head, slow, steady carbonation. Sweet aroma. Bitter, musky, malty flavor. Well rounded and just enough malt and a hint of hay, grass, something... not the greatest, but good.

Sampled at the Flying Dog tasting at Blacklick Wine and Spirits on 2.12.09. Pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. Caramel malt aroma with some hop. Flavor is pretty much the same. Pretty boring. I prefer my amber beers with a bit more hop or some other defining characteristic. This is very garden variety.
