Now I have to get to 75 characters to be able to rate this sucker. If you go to a store and are looking for a amber ale give it a try. How’s that for 75 characters? astrofrk (219), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 19, 2009 Updated: Feb 20, 200912oz bottle at home on February 19, 2009. Looks just like a cylindrical block of liquid amber... frothy white head, slow, steady carbonation. Sweet aroma. Bitter, musky, malty flavor. Well rounded and just enough malt and a hint of hay, grass, something... not the greatest, but good. JaBier (1294), Capital City, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 14, 2009 Sampled at the Flying Dog tasting at Blacklick Wine and Spirits on 2.12.09. Pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. Caramel malt aroma with some hop. Flavor is pretty much the same. Pretty boring. I prefer my amber beers with a bit more hop or some other defining characteristic. This is very garden variety.
