12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin off white head with good duration over a clear, dark amber body.....nose is malty, some caramel......tastes initially of roasted malts finishing with nice hop bitterness.....mouthfeel is medium with nice carbonation. Over all a light, somewhat malty, but hoppy and clean finishing beer. This meets the "California Common" style very well. I’d like to do a blind test against Anchor Steam.

12oz bottle. Light tan head with orange amber body. Smells like caramel and biscuits. Tastes like biscuits and caramel with a slightly dry and metallic finish. More hops would help.

Pouring from a bottle, nice amber color and surprisingly carbonated. A bit crisp for an ale at the beginning which could be from the carbonation. There wasn’t much to the aroma. Could be a great session beer and seems like a very consistent beer.

pours amber, obviously, got about a 1 finger head out of it. Can smell the malts in this one, also some citrus-y smell. tastes pretty good to me, taste a bit of that citrus, also getting good malt taste, with just a bit of bitterness in the end. overall a pretty tasty brew, but nothing overwhelming about it, its not that memorable.

From bottle... poured amber with white head. Aroma was bread and nuts. Roasted malt flavor. Not that enjoyable.

Copper amber pour into an off-white foamy head that dissipates into ring of bubbles on the side of the glass. Light lacing that melts into a swirling pool of malty foam. Aroma of malty citrus and slightly toasted wheat bread. Initial flavor of malt fades into a nutty finish with hoppy bitter aftertaste.
