| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 30, 2008 From a 12 oz bottle this beer pours a solid copper color with a thin white head and lacing that lingered on the glass. Very malty scent with some caramel, hops, pine and grasses. nice malty/ caramel flavor.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Pours a clear, dark amber color with sparkling carbonation and an average, off-white, pillowy head which settles quickly and leaves minimal, sporadic lace. Nose is quite malty with lots of sweet caramel, lightly toasted notes, hints at raisins, and mild tones of woody, bark-like hops. Similar flavors but more hops noted being woody still but also hinting at minty; rich malt tones also filter in with sweet caramel and lightly toasted notes. Palate is medium, lively, and a touch dry and crisp in the finish. Finishes with the rich sweetness disappearing, leaving the hop notes, drying a bit with crisp notes of twigs, faint toasted notes and lingering hints at mint. Bitterness was moderately light to start but ends with a moderate bitterness in the finish. A good beer with great drinkability. Not the typical Steam beer but the balance was good and the rich malt notes matched the earthy-type hops well. Nice effort from FD. Pinball (3010), Allerød, Denmark
