| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 26, 2008 From the bottled the beer poured a darker amber color with a thin white head and good carbonation. Very sweet fruitiness to the nose at first with some nice caramel malt and a slight nuttiness to follow. Flavor is heavy of caramel malt at first and flows into a nice sweet raisin tone which sticks for a bit after the beer is gone. Thin head sticks around throughout the tasting. Good beer to sit around and drink but nothing too special here. BMan1113VR (2943), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
