Pours a reddish deep golden color with a medium sized quickly vanishing off white head. It has a nice roasted taste and it very nicely balanced between malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Toasty malty base with aromatic notes of caramel and liquorice, accompanied by a blend of herbal hops and very subtle fruity notes lying underneath; toasty malty and moderately hop bitter finish. Appearance is rich creamy amber with a hint of red. Taste is roasted malts with a touch of bitterness. Nice carbonation and a creamy head. Pretty good... tastes like a nicely balance lager.
