Had a watered down flavor of caramel, malt, light hop. Had some very light fruity esters. Probably wouldn’t buy again. JorisPPattyn (5192), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 17, 2008 Fully clear amber-copper beer, with medium amberish head. Intense malty nose; Vienna malt, cookie malt, cattle fodder. In the taste liquorice, coloured malts, moccha cookies, blueberries, rather very estery/fruity for a lager. Maybe not a maltbomb, but so much malt-dominated, that one wishes for some drying hops. Rather well-bodied, sticky even. Ok, this is some kind of American Vienna. But Herr Sedlmayer would have wanted SOME hops in his beers, I guess. Exaggerated IMO. DickDunnigan (26), Boise, Idaho, USA

Sweet malty aroma, tangy mouthfeel with lots of carbonation. Flavors of sweet, toasted malts with some caramel. Faint hop bitterness. Not bad. unclemike (833), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA

Nice looking beer with deep amber and almost white head. This beer is all about the malt with a bready backbome and large burnt caramel pleasentness. not earth shattering but remains for me extremely drinkable.
I assumed this wasnt widely available outside the US but my bottle has many languages on it? I assume this one wasnt brewed in Denver and as such has lost some of it’s soul. (this is purely psycological on my part!)
