Hazy copper color. The aroma has some light hop. Sweetish mouthfeel, not much flavor, a bit candy-like. Ordinary. Very light fruitness.

Nov 22, 2007 Bottled. An amber coloured beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is on the sweet and malty side with a touch of bread and caramel. Pretty thin hoppiness. The taste is also malty but there are some piney hops a la USA. Thin, short finish. Average.

Nov 19, 2007 Poured a golden color with a near orange head. Aroma was of bread with slight hop aroma. Taste was smooth with a sweet aftertaste.

Nov 13, 2007 Pours amber with no head. Aroma is caramel malt with a little bit of bready lager smell. Flavor is of an amber ale. Light toasty caramel malt with a more lager like crisp finish. A little lingering sweetness though. Its average, but when it is in the "in-laws" fridge and the only other beer in there is Corona, it is fantastic!

Nov 12, 2007 Brown amber colour. Small brown tan on the head. It takes me a while to define this brew. It´s well brewed, no doubt about it but the aroma and flavor is at first hard to define. But after a while it clears and a find a round pleasent malty, candylike hopy aroma. Flavor is dry hopy and flowery. Also candy. Flying Dog delivers as usual...

Nov 11, 2007 Bottle from Bells brewery shop. Poured a lovely amber colour with a thin white head. The malt in the beer really comes through the finish is bitter, not a bad beer. My first California common, when on the bottle it say’ s amber lager.
