| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 2, 2009 12oz - Bland aroma of toasted malts and some perfumey hops. Flavor matches with a bitter bite at the end. Palate is kinda sticky and bitter. A boring beer that gets worse as it warms. floydian1 (292), FNQ, Australia
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 2, 2009 355ml bottle into pilsner glass. The beer has a clear copper-amber body with a small off white head that didn’t last. The nose is malty with caramel notes and a hint of citrus. The flavour is mellow caramel malts with subdued fruity hops. Finishes with a light dry hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied for the ABV with an easy refreshing drinkability. Reminds me of a James Squire Amber Ale. A decent "lawnmower" beer but it is rather pricey in Australia. imdownthepub (5184), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 2, 2009 Bottled, 355ml from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Oxon. Red amber, carbonated, with white head. Smooth and fruity on the nose which carries through to the body, which presumably is what they mean by ale characteristics, some gentle hop notes in with a darker roasted maltiness. Easy drinking if a little mundane. smart001 (44), Scott AFB, Illinois, USA
