A surprising amount of chocolate notes... another average and highly drinkable beer from Flying Dog... they know how to make money... but their specialties are nice, too.

bottle. Pours a clear, amber with a thin, off-white head. Nose is spicy, nut and grain. Taste is weak grain, grass and metal. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. bleh.

Very decent. Had it on tap at the Manchester Pub in NYC. Poured a deep amber-red with a medium, clean white head. Aroma of roasted malts and some fruit. Tasted sweet and malty with just a touch of bitterness. Finished smooth with a clean, crisp aftertaste.

Another damn good beer from Flying Dog. Pours amber with a small white head. Aroma was malt, hops and a little citrus. Malty hoppy taste.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear light amber with a medium white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet bready (slightly vegetal) malts.

The flavor is sweet vegetal caramel malts with a bit of a metallic twang at the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some prickly carbonation.

Overall, this is barely one step above a macro. I didn’t care for this at all.

Drank this one on the Beach in NC at Craby Claws, pours murky amber with small head and no lacing. aroma of malt, hops, and some citrus, along with some sweetness. Flavor is dry but malty with a good amout of hops on the aftertaste. decent mouthfeel. decent brew.
