On tap at the Bavarian Lodge, Lisle, IL. Poured to a shaker an amber hue with thick, off white foam and thick curtains of lacing. The nose offered a smooth hop aroma with a little toast and grain. The flavor added some grainy malt and moderate hop bitterness. Light to medium body as a flavorful, sessionable lager.

Low white head on an amber body. Not too strong, even a little sweet, a good unambitious beer. Good anytime, but not a star taste-wise.

Sweet malty aroma. Thin head and amber color. Somewhat malty intro and mouthfeel followed by a slight bitterness and sweet, floral finish. Some citrus notes.

Bottle, Rehills, Newcastle. Deep coloured and strong tasting. Rich fruit aroma and slightly vineous, with a fine sweetness that lasts well and leaves a well-rounded mouthfeel.

I actually really liked this brew... Overall a very solid appearance and the smell was partly of malt and partly of hops, basically what the description called for. The taste was mildly hoppy with a lot of malt character which continued for a little while after drinking. Pretty good.
