Ungstrup (10432), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 18, 2005 A hazy amber beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, and so is the flavor. omhper (9704), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 30, 2006 [Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Clear reddish amber, near no head. Buttery malt aroma. Low hop rate, some butter and caramel, but the clean, hard mouthfeel doesn’t let much flavor out. Papsoe (9242), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 23, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Rather sweet aroma with distinct caramel. Medium body with loads of caramel and perhaps a touch of nuts. Very vague underlying tartness. Quite lovely and unusual - and by far the most interesting CC I’ve ever had (although it isn’t really saying much....) 230306 Oakes (6556), Miami Beach, Canada Dec 17, 2001 Dark amber; aroma of candied fruits, brown sugar, vanilla, toffee, pears; sweet palate shows more candy, peaches, slight woody notes, Belgian specialty malts (like biscuit and maybe a tiny bit of Special B - anyone else get this or I am just wishing?)...anyway back to the point. This is a sweet, soft (creamy even), complex beer that shows more 'steam' characteristics than Anchor does. sk8viking (5997), Copenhagen, Denmark Jul 4, 2007 Bottle. A amber beer with a big off-white head. The aroma is of caramel malt, fruits and cookies, the taste is light roasted, caramel malt, fruits and cookies. Medium body with a sweet light dry finish. Quit nise!
