12oz bottle. Pours orange with big creamy off-white head. Good lacing and mostly lasting foam. Good aroma with some malt and lots of hops. Balanced and aromatic flavor. Medium body and medium carbonation. Good beer.

Bottle, poured a great amber color, very little head, with even less lacing in the glass. Tasted, well, malty haha. A nice "hybrid" brew.

(12 ounce bottle - pint glass) Pours a clear amber colored liquid that has little head. The little head disapates fast and leads to almost no lacing. Aroma is a intresting mix of caramel and bread maltiness. The maltiness is also a mix of wheat and barley which gives it a little more depth. The taste is malty with light notes of citrus hops. The mouthfeel thin bodied and has soft carbonation. Has characteristics of an ale. Overall nothing special but worth a try.

04-DEC-2009, bottle, Ulkløbben @Michael. Amber (I am sharp tonight!), low white head. Lovely sweet, bitter hoppy nose. Taste is dissapointing compared to the nose. Thin, sweet, nice bitter ending, but much too thin. OK quaffer.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange amber with a thin white head. Grain, a bit of cigarette butts, old hops. Grainy, little bit of malt. Finishes up with some light bitterness and a bit of caramel.

A transparent orange-amber color in the glass. A little bit of sweetness with the caramel malt flavors.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear, copper, reddish-orange colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is actually pretty nice. Its malty, but has a fairly complex background. Some caramels initially with floral fruits, wood, vanilla, earthy hops, citrus zest, brown sugar, and a faint roast. Its like a 50/50 mix with malty caramels taking up half and then everything else evenly divided in the other half. At first whiff, the second 50% is hard to notice. Flavor is similar, maybe not quite as complex as the aroma, but it has the same 50/50 thing going on. Half of it is the smooth, semi-sweet caramels and the other half is a mixture of other things. Flowery hops, some peach, earth, a light citrus, toasty bread, toffee, sugary cereal grains, and a light ginger-ish sweeter spice. Finishes smooth and lightly bittered with a medium aftertaste and body. Overall, a very interesting beer. At first glance, its a simple malt-centric, smooth beer. At second glance, its quite complex with a variety of aromas and flavors. I’m really digging the whole 50/50 concept of this.
