Commercial Description:
Brewed in the tradition of centuries old Scottish brewing methods, "Road" is reminiscent of a Porter. Road Dog is a rich, malty beer with hints of chocolate and licorice resulting from the use of four prized malts.

Decent taste, but kind of thin. Lightly watery palate. All malt flavor, but fortunately not too sweet. Lightly burnt malt finish. A bit on the boring side..but still very drinkable.

EBF08. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, blackberry, raisin and some liquorish. Flavour is malt, some fruit and liquorish. Dry aftertaste.

Bottle. Dark copper brown color, little head. Aroma is rather burnt and spicy. Flavor has a clear touch of liquorice. Somehow the overall impression is quite lame, though, perhaps a bit too watery.

Veramente scarsa. Molto al di sotto della media del suo stile birraio. La peggiore tra tutte le flying dog sentite finora.

12 oz bottle served in a clear pint glass. Pour was a clear, dark brown with 1 finger of white head. Nose is sour pears, malt, and light licorice. Taste is sour and bitter apples with a light toffee finish. A Very strange porter indeed. I would have sworn it was a version of a strong ale.

12 oz bottle. The one I had is the Road Dog Porter, not Scottish Porter. Pours a nice reddish brown. Smells of roasted malt and a little caramel. Light to medium body. Flavors of coffee and maybe chocolate, the end is slightly dry. Not the best porter I’ve had but drinkable.
