Commercial Description:
Brewed in the tradition of centuries old Scottish brewing methods, "Road" is reminiscent of a Porter. Road Dog is a rich, malty beer with hints of chocolate and licorice resulting from the use of four prized malts.

Pours brown with reddish tint. Nice white head. Malty beer here. But it was just lacking something that other good porters have. Taste was fine and drinkable, just a little weak in my opinion.

This beer had a sweet, malty aroma. It poured a clearer, rich brown for a porter, certainly not opaque. You could taste a bit of the sweetness of the chocolate as described as well.

I can’t believe this beer was rated so low. I thought it was the shit. Poured a dark, amber brown with an off white bubbly head. It definitely wasn’t as dark as I had expected it to be. Nice malty coffee aroma and taste. This was a little different than most porters I’ve had, it was very smooth and refreshing. This would be great on a hot day.

Bottle. Hazy brown colour with medium creamy light brown mostly lasting head. Aroma and flavor is roasted malt with notes of coffee. Creamy palate.

Dark brown with hues and a tan disappearing head. Aroma is very weak, I can hardly notice a roasted note. The flavour is lovely roasted sweet, a bit fruity, with some coffee, cappuccino, and a bitter cocoa end.

Pours dark brown with reddish tint, with off white head that fades quickly. Some lacing on glass. Aroma is faint chocolate, mollasses and toffee. Very light on tongue not what you expected. Taste is simple goes away quickly. Ok brew

Aroma is of chocolate and maybe some moss. The flavor is not thin but it is also not very distinguishable. the palate is of faint roast malts. Ok beer. Nothing bad about but seems to just exist. Maybe was a bad bottle.
