Brewed in the tradition of centuries old Scottish brewing methods, "Road" is reminiscent of a Porter. Road Dog is a rich, malty beer with hints of chocolate and licorice resulting from the use of four prized malts.

this beer is A good national beer. i would say one of the best. I really like the color and the head, a full beer, but not too filling on the ole belly! I would most Def rscomend this one!

Tastes great right out of the bottle, warm or cool. I prefer it cold, but its good any which way you take it. Its great going down, tastes delicious, and it’s got a lot going for it.

I can’t believe this beer was rated so low. I thought it was the shit. Poured a dark, amber brown with an off white bubbly head. It definitely wasn’t as dark as I had expected it to be. Nice malty coffee aroma and taste. This was a little different than most porters I’ve had, it was very smooth and refreshing. This would be great on a hot day.

Perfect start of floral hops and malt and yes, it’s got some of that spicy/peaty/malty Scotch flavor but this is hardly representative of the style. It is on the other hand a mighty fine brew.

Malty in that inimitable Scottish roasted caramel way, not much hops. One of my favorite beers, with extra appearance points for Ralph Steadman.

Wow! This beer is impressive. Beautiful ruby color, changing to brown towards the edge of the glass, good head, and ’roasted’ aroma and taste make this beer a good one.
