Fruity hoppy nose, sort of sweet, bitter hoppy taste. A good beer with a bad price here.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus and pine. The flavour is caramel malt, biscuit and citrus. Smooth mouthfeel with a lingering bitterness in the finish. Pretty good ay.

35.5cl bottle from Vinmonopolet. Best before 2009-10-03. It poured a medium dark orange colour with a huge creamy white head that settled down slowly in the glass. The aroma is very hoppy with notes of citrus and grapefruit. The flavour is very bitter and dry with notes of hops, malts, grapefruit and pine. It has a lingering aftertaste.

Aroma is all hops - floral and bitter. Taste is citrus fruit (grapefruit mostly) and pine. Slightly sweet caramel malt note for balance. There’s also a peppery after taste to accompany a sharp, aggressively bitter finish. Carbonation is a bit more lively than I would like. Still this is a great IPA - it’s aggressively bitter and hoppy. Drinkable and very enjoyable.

Pours a slightly hazy light golden brown with a small white head. The aroma is full of nice grapefruit like hops with a little spruce as well. Flavor is full of grapefruit and pine with a nice bitter finish.

Pours golden orange with a billowy head that dissipates rapidly. Aroma is big hops, very fresh and light. Caramel and pine. Flavor is initially toasted, quickly heads into downtown hopsville. It does seem the brewmaster practiced some restraint, ans a decent balance is acheived, as the fruity hops fade and the bitter, dry grapefruit finish comes in. This style has recently been way overdone, but this is a good balanced example.

Bottle. Medium brown body, with large bubbles. Nice medium sized off white head. Nice light sweet fruity aroma. Nice hops, fresh fruits. Nice medium heavy hoppy flavour, fresh fruits. Bitter finish with a touch of tropical fruits. This is a fine beer, but could have had more of the lovely flavour and aroma. (At home, 02.04.09)
