Apr 9, 2009 [1874-20081205] Cask. Orange hops and some tea and stewed malt grain aroma. Hazy, brown orange body with a quick foamy white head. Hoppy and grainy orange roughage flavour. Medium-full body. Quite enjoyable.

Apr 7, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a beautiful copper color with a thick, white head and incredible lacing. Citrus hop aroma with hints of grapefruit. Aroma was heavy when I cracked the bottle and during the pour but quickly dissipated and became a bit weak. Nice, spicy flavor with that same grapefruit citrus notes as the aroma. A very solid brew but not quite as good as I was hoping.

Apr 6, 2009 Clear copper beer beneath an nice creme colored head. Left amazing lacing. Spicy hop aroma with notes of citrus, little on the weak side though. Flavor is bursting with hops to start that mellows out as it goes down and then finishes bitter. Sweet floral taste with more than a hint of citrus, grapefruit tang to it. Bitterness hangs around in the mouth a little to sharply and long for my liking.

Apr 5, 2009 12oz bottle: Amber color with a small off white head. Grapefruit and flowery aroma. Sweet citrus initial flavor with a sharp bitter finish. A medicinal aftertaste lingers. Syrupy texture and lacking carbonation. A different take on the style that just isn’t for me.

Apr 5, 2009 Nice copper color with a foamy off white head. Intense aroma of sweet fruitcocktail in syrup. Smooth fruity flavor with a pleasant finishing bitterness. Wellbalanced with a nice mouthfeel.
