Mild flavor very dry and almost gritty mouthfeel. Nothing wrong but nothing remarkable. lindsey7638 (18), , Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Feb 13, 2009 This IPA was surprisingly mild for someone who doesn’t enjoy the overwhelming taste of hops from most IPA’s. It had a lot of flavor but was still pretty smooth. jimmack34 (570), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 11, 2009 Bottle. Pours rusty orange with an off white head. Smells piney, citric, and lightly floral. Tastes cirtrusy up front, with a hard bitter hit, then some piney, grassy hop intense-ness. Malts are kinda bready, but light. Lots of flavor. Pretty smooth. Pretty good IPA. yngwie (5084), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 11, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear, golden body and a small, off-white head. Lovely resiny and citrusy nose with the balance job done by malty sweetness and some tiny notes of caramel. The flavor is a more or less balanced experience but the hops are a tad more evident. There’s sufficient malty sweetness with some caramel and beef-stock. Piney and citrusy hops rounds it of, with a fine bitterness. Full-bodied. Not a very complex beer, but a really pleasant one. Too strong and maybe too sweet to be a real thirst-quencher, but at the same time I would love to drink it that way. (090211) Skeegle (503), Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 10, 2009 This was one hell of a hoppy IPA. The 7.1 ABV definitely shows itself and shows itself early. This is a piney IPA, not my favorite out of the three flavors, but I liked it. Nice and clean, especially for 7.1 piney. Radek Kliber (4000), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada
