Golden orange color. Sweet citrus, hoppy aroma. And the flavor... not as sweet, almost metallic. Thin and bitter. Think this could have been better with a different type of hop. Not bad, but nothing to search out. faroeviking (6120), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 9, 2009 I purposely waited until i completed the six pack before making a final judgement on this IPA. At first it seemed very bitter and with a strong bite after wards. I must admit that i don’t care for Ales so i waited and I had to admit that this stuff grew on me. The flavor and appearance looked and tasted bold and dynamic. I will try this again and I would recommend this to any IPA drinker. jerc (3947), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

(3+) Nice dry hopped aroma, pleasant resiny hops. (7+) Flavour is likewise nicely hoppy, light citrus and resin is not over the top but quite quaffable. (7+) Average palate. Alcohol was barely noticed, I had no idea it was this strong until I entered my rating. 7/3/7/3/15 - 3.5 Dry hopped Cask at Goodbar, Buffalo

Pours a translucent copper color with a fair sized sudsy white head. The nose is moderate with sweet malts and a bit of pine. The flavor is dominated by biter pine, walnuts, and some grapefruit rind. Tastes a bit more biter than the 60 IBU’s listed in the description. The mouthfeel is light and malty. The finish is long, dry and biter. Overall: A very respectable IPA. sloth (1678), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
