Pours with a large foamy off-white head covering a clear amber body. Aroma of floral and slightly spicey hops, some pear and sticky sweet malts. Herbal and a touch of orange...very pungent. Taste is malty, watery, slightly salty, and not very bitter at any point. Slightly fizzy, fullish mouthfeel. Bragesnak (2276), Aarhus, Denmark

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 30, 2008 Broadway brewing used to brew this beer for the Flying Dog brewpub but now the Flying Dog is brewing & bottling themselves but the taste is the same.
Pours a four finger white head that fades to a thin layer leaving some lace. Clear amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Grapefruit hop nose. Flavor is balanced then goes to grapefruit with the expected lingering bitter finish of an IPA. $1.67 for a 12oz bottle from Capital Convenience Concord, NH. JCB (1776), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 30, 2008 Lo and behold, a new version of Snake Dog. I was at my fantasy football draft, game face on, not focused on rating, when my buddy Mike gave me this one. 7.1%, I thought? I think that’s a rerate! And sure enough it’s true. But honestly, it tasted mostly like the previous version, with no detectable difference in the alcohol. Pleasant gold-to-orange body with a slightly subdued floral hop aroma. The body’s a bit more substantial. It remains a solid, sessionable beer. mmmbeer (761), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Aug 30, 2008 12 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured transparent copper, low-medium carbonation, half finger white head formed and tried it’s best to lace. Aroma of grapefruit, hard malt, and scattered hops. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, malt is nice but nothing to rob a train for, very mild in the middle- kind of like the beer went to sleep, finish has nice acidic bite from hops. If only the middle was stronger... it would be an great beer. But it’s still above average...
