| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Clear, blond body. Off-white creamy head. Ok lace. Fresh, citric aroma with caramel hints. Heavily bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Balance is not bad, but neither great. Still nice. brosen561 (22), Minnesota, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 5, 2009 12 oz bottle into tulip. What can only be called a smack in the face. Pours a clear, dark orange with a thinnish white head. Smells of citrus and watermelon candy. Tastes heavily of grapefruit, some lemon, and a little grass, with plenty of hops, giving your nose a little tingle. Finishes like grapefruit juice, bitter, and very dry. Another favorite. Pours a light to medium amber, medium foam head that dissipates quickly with minimal lacing. Aroma is of orange and initial hops with malty undertones. Mouth feel is light to medium. First flavor to hit the palate was washed out citrus, followed by chewy hops, finished prematurely with alcohol nose coming through a bit to soon. Not as well balanced as I had hoped by certainly a note worthy IPA. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
