bottle, pours burnt orange color with small off white head. As expected aroma is hoppy, piney resin mostly with some citrus, and a little malt. Flavor starts out semi-sweet, with a nice bitter, hoppy finish. Not the best, I wish I had tasted the pre-2008 version so I could compare, but a pretty decent IPA.

Jul 18, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma of floral earthy hops with sweet malt and a hint of caramel. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Good.

Jul 12, 2008 Bottle, at home with renffisch, 25th June 2008. Bright amber with a hoppy aroma, spiced up with citrus, honey and herbal notes. Very bitter but balanced with some honey flavours. Has a decent weight and a consistent flavour - not overly hoppy or over dry. Good stuff.

Jul 10, 2008 On draught at Ealing BF 2008. So I guess this must be the 2008 or later as it was a keg at a July BF. Aroma is stunning of leafy hop. Hazy copper/orange, thin lasting cream head. I mean it’s served way too cold, but that is lovely. Good malts. The hop is good on the end. Little bit sweet, sugary. Lacks a bit on the malts. Love the aroma though. Good sherbert.

Jul 10, 2008 The beer pours a honey amber with a thin white head that is mostly lasting with great lacing. The nose is full on hops with some sweet malt. The flavor is sweet malts and dry bitter hops. The finish is medium lasting and tasting of hops.

Jul 9, 2008 Served from a strange cylindrical keg inside a fridge at the Ealing beer festival, London. Indicated as 5.6%. Golden brown with a keggy/bottle off-white head. Superb fresh hop aroma. Delicious juicy malt and resinous hop flavours exploding in the mouth. Another superb American craft beer.Not quite the ale of the festival for me, but close.
