Mar 28, 2008 Pours a clear amber with very little white head. The aroma is fruit, hoppy, with some flowers mixed in. This beer’s flavor doesn’t have much kick for an IPA. The hop flavor is pretty subdued, and the remaining flavors is thin and a little sweet. It’s not bad, but I would like more flavor.

Mar 27, 2008 One of the better Flying Dog brews. This one knocked me on my but after about 4. Big bold flavor, lots of hoppiness to it, and a little bit fruity towards to end. The after taste is a little more alcohol driven than some IPA’s, but overall, a good beer.

Mar 23, 2008 Bottle in Pace, Florida. Great aroma of hops. Nice orange color. Big, fluffy, white head. Sharp hop taste. Very good overwhelming American style IPA. Enough hops to make you cough.

Mar 21, 2008 Pours a gold color with a thin white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is bitter, with a slight pineapple smell. Taste is about the same, but has some floral characteristics. Has a bit too much malty chewiness.

Mar 21, 2008 Golden and pretty much clear in look with an ok head. Hoppy but overally so in an IPA. Not overally bitter which is ok, but not still the right balance needs a little more hoppiness for me.

Mar 20, 2008 bottle from bmo encinitas. this is a very friendly ipa and I found the malts quite delicate and balanced into the tangy hops, had sharp but quick to fade grapefruit finish, a pretty nice little ipa

Mar 19, 2008 Bottled. Poured clear lighter golden with rising carbonation and an explosive cap of off-white head (we’re talkin’ 90% of the glass!). The aroma was a touch dusty and medicinal with sharp lemon zesty notes over dry bready notes and pale malts.. didn’t really come together. The flavor was along those same lines.. sour to the point of being unbalanced.. mostly pale malts at the core with light floral bitterness around.. warmth brough about more sweetness, but also sharp medicinal notes on the back-end. Medium-bodied with lots of carbonation and lots of sourness on the palate.. rough, unpleasant feel. I’m hoping that this was just an off bottle.
