purchased from beer on the wall by my wife for my birthday. pour is a clear amber-orange with a small off-white head, good lacing. smell of light grapefruit, caramel, some citrus. taste is smooth with a bitter kick up front, some caramel, some malt in the back, touch of citrus, nice bitterness throughout.

Poured sort of a golden-copper color. Hops were in the aroma but didn’t have the real powerful aroma some of these beers do. Flavor was both malty and hoppy leaning pretty heavy to the hoppy side. Had a pleasent bitterness that brought to mind pine and citrus. Pretty good.

Sample @ Hallandale beer fest (bottle). Smells like an herb garden on a crisp winter day. Intensely hop forward flavors but clean and not sticky with a good palate. Warm amber-gold colors, pours with not much head.

pours a caramel amber color with a white head. aroma is hops, dirt, and bread. taste is light apricot, citrus, and some grassy floral notes. mid-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. nice light bitter end with some lingering apricot. not a bad session-type brew. on the high end of IPA’s i’ve tasted of late. try it, i think it deserves a slightly higher rating than it has here.

It’s a good overall IPA. I did enjoy the taste of this brew. Could use a little more carboration and maybe a couple of different kinds of higher acidic hops. But nonetheless, it’s got a good solid body with a re-freshing smooth taste. Overall, it’s got my vote.

Bottle. Pours a reddish amber in color with a smallish white head. It has a spicy, floral citrus aroma. This beer has a spicy, cirus hop flavor with a distinct dry hopped zing in the finish.

Not terrible. I was calling this one the poor man’s 60 minute. nothing special about this, although it was a smooth drinker. could tell the hops were a little dif than most ipas.. lots of floral/citrus tones.... would opt out again if other ipas were available.
