douglas88 (1555), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Dec 15, 2007 Bottle courtesy of RiversideAK. Pours a light amber with floral and citrus aromas. The taste is really clean and nice; hops, some citrus, a grassy quality, and some malt flavors. A good IPA, great flavor and easy to drink. I could have 20. Hinez57 (129), Clinton, Mississippi, USA Dec 11, 2007 Read elsewhere for description... All I gots ta say is dis wadnt exactly whut I wuz xpektin. I found it to be thin, the aroma to be underwelming (weaker than a decent APA), lacking a real complexity which is the key to most beers expecially an IPA. Overall it’s drinkable and could be catagorized as a really nice ESB or some type of bitter, but not a very good IPA. Nate (2533), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 11, 2007 Bottle courtesy of dpjuart. Decent little hoppy nose to this one. Resin and grapefruit oil, quite bitter and woody, with a mild papery smell. Golden amber clear, wtih thin off-white lacing head. Medium to light body, watery, with light carbonation. Soft. Starts with a bit of malt sweetness, fruity with grapefruit and apricot. Predominantly, it’s quite bitter, with resin and woodiness in there from start to finish. Medium to heavy bitter finish, with light fruity undertones. Mild sugar taste. OK. fredjaz (108), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Dec 11, 2007 A pretty good IPA nice hop bitterness, but not as much as other well known versions, very citrus aroma marano35 (22), Bay Minette, Alabama, USA Dec 10, 2007 Poured from a bottle. I tried Harpoon IPA on the same night. Liked it a lot better. As Randy Jackson says "It was just alright for me dawg." Had a bitter finish but ok overall. Dough77 (771), Aurora, Illinois, USA Dec 10, 2007 mdium copper pour. Nose of flowery hop, little bit of citrus. Little overly carbonated, making it a bit tough going down. But get past that and its a a solid IPA. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Dec 6, 2007 Draft at the brewery. Golden yellow with some citrus aromas. The flavor was not as nice. None of the super fruity hops I have come to expect in an IPA. Average lalu (12), Morin Heights, Quebec, Canada Dec 5, 2007 Nice piney hop smell.
Lovely amber color, small short lasting head.
Nice lacing on the glass.
Awesome flavor, very true to the style.
Hops slighly overpower the malt but that is how i like IPA.
Fruity floral hops like they say in the description.Ranks among the best IPA in my books.
