Oct 16, 2007 12 fl oz bottle, thanks to faroeviking. Pours hazy orange with a creamy and dense head. Dry hoppy and fruity aroma. Flavour is dry hoppy with a bit of liqource-like note. Very dry finish, hoppy and slight spiced.

Oct 15, 2007 Bottle. Pours a deep golden colour with a good white head. Sweet fruity and hoppy aroma. The flavour is fresh and fruity with a very good maltiness and hoppiness and a slight spiced touch. The finish has a good dry hoppy frutiness with some pine. Very tasty brew indeed.

Oct 13, 2007 Served cold from bottle. Pours gold with a white-colored head. Some malt and hops in the aroma, maybe a hint of fruit, too. Balanced flavor, slightly on the malty side. A decent beer, easy to drink and quite palatable.

Oct 12, 2007 Bottle, pours clear dark gold wiith a substantial and lacy off-white head. Medium-light body and carbonation tending to light. This IPA almost qualifies as a fruit beer. Big sweet aroma and taste of grapefruit and pineapple and mango. Almost no trace of pine to be found, except for the bit that shows up as the finish dries out. Low on the IBUs for an IPA, but makes up for it by a huge hop presence in the taste and nose.

Oct 8, 2007 Bottle marked at 6.4% ABV. Reddish-gold colour with a decent white head. Pleasant orange and spice hop aroma. Flavour had some pine and citrus hop balanced by chewy malt, with a decent dry finish. Very enjoyable.

Oct 7, 2007 Bottle labelled 4.7%abv. Pours red amber with a slick of fine white suds. Tempting perfume of Turkish Delight and orange, becoming increasingly leafy and nettle-like as it warms. Chewy, floral and uncompromisingly bitter, with a grapefruit punch and trace of biscuity malt. Big hop character at the strength. Very tasty, pungently bitter IPA.

Oct 6, 2007 Floral aroma that gives way to the the strong hops expected in an IPA. Nice flavor, balanced (you can taste the malt) with darker amber color. My favorite Flying Dog bottle art as well.
