Commercial Description:
Snake Dog is a traditional IPA, brewed with imported English Maris Otter pale malt and Golding Hops. Dry hopped with Chinook and Golding hops, contributes to the fruity-floral hop aroma characteristics of this IPA.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with a quickly diminishing light head. Light sweet caramel malt and then hops, honey sweet then grapefruit and some light citrus.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber with a tall tan head. Aroma of floral hops. Flavor of citrus, honey and malt. Slightly bitter finish. Well balanced. Pretty good beer.

(Bottle, BBE 02.10.08) Amber. Clear. Largish white, with brown stains, bubbly head. Grassy nose. Full bodied palate with lot of cabonation. Grass, malts, hint of dried plum and bit of salty liquorice in taste.

On tap at In de Wildeman, feb. 2008. Pale amber colour, white head. Aroma of hops and malts. Flavour is dry, bitter, a bit malty. Citrus flavours. Dry bitter finish.

Pours clear amber-bronze with a big creamy, tan foamy head. Flowerish and hoppy nose. Flavour of hops ,sweet honey, grapefruit and citrus. Medium bodied. Pleasant bitter finish. Nice brew.

Sweet, hoppy and very clean, this is an everyday ipa for me. Memorable because of a little mishap in the alcohol volume here, this was sold in the normal shops and they aren’t supposed to sell over 4,7% stuff. No wonder this was more delicious than the run of the mill ordinary shop IPAs.

12oz bottle. Poursclear gold/dark yellow with a white frothy head....citrus/grapefruit hops aroma, some floral...fresh tasting with an ok hop finish.

I had the old version a while ago. I remember it to be rather unremarkable, I remember thinking: are they sure this is an IPA? Overall, I’d say I thought it was average.
