| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 19, 2007 12oz bottle. pours bronze with lots of carbonation and a thin film of soft off white head. lots of orange zest and other citrus tones but also some flowery hop aroma as well. really quite aromatic, not the ipa hop bite or resiny pine you might expect. a peachy fruitiness does appear in the middle. body is somewhat velvety and smooth although a little harsh. big time hops on the back half with long aromatic bitter finish. johndoughty (2156), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 18, 2007 The bottle said 4.7 per cent not 5.75. i always thought that IPA’s had a very high rate of hoppiness. This one like a few others I have tried lately was dominated by a floral flavour rather than hops. Although it was pleasantly drinkable I couldn’t help thinking that the people in the days of the British Empire who originally drank IPA just wouldn’t recognise this.Having said that it was still a reasonably pleasant drink. mrant (330), New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 14, 2007 Smells pleasantly citrusy. Has a wonderful golden color. Very distinctive flavor, sort of sour banana, not a bad thing, just different. JAF737300 (792), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 13, 2007 This IPA shows huge hops on the nose and then gives you that citrus and bitter pop on the palate and into the finish. Excellent. RedXIII (127), Powell, Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 12, 2007 Another solid IPA crossed off the list. Aroma is pretty much pure hops with a touch of lemon. Ordinary white head with a golden red color and good lacing as you drink. A strong pine, floral and hop taste that leaves a sharp and bitter finish. T2Tool (352), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Poured from a bottle an amber color with a thin white head. A nice hoppy smell. Taste was of grapefruit and pine. And, of course, hops. Dedollewaitor (3649), Odense, Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Updated: Mar 1, 2008Orange with a bubbly white head. Piney, grape, grassy, flowery, soapy hop aroma and taste. Very dry bitter & light bodied. Pleasant and drinkable - but not excellent! Could need a malty background! Tasted 2nd time feb 08. Deserved a higher rating 3,5 - 3,7. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Aug 10, 2007 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Golden coloured beer with no head. The aroma is dominated by resinous hops. Feels a fairly thick body but with very little malt or sweetness to balance out harsh bitterness in the finish. Astringent. Poor.
