The bitterness of the hops aren’t balanced very well. The nose is hops and citrus. Aftertaste is sharp bitter hops. Just not a full beer, needs something else. molassesfan (201), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 18, 2007 Pours orange with a small white head. Aroma is subdued, citrus and flowers. Taste is much the same, subdued. This needs some more strength to be really good. DKlovesbeer (172), Sarasota, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 18, 2007 Orange/Amber color. Little white head. Not much aroma, mostly florall and citrus notes. Lackluster flavor, not bad, just nothing to write home about. I’d drink this again for sure, but it’s not a favorite. Overall: Decent IPA. pojo41 (315), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 17, 2007 Copper pour with a 1 finger white head and some nice lacing. Great pine and floral aroma with earthy malt and some tropical fruit notes. Lots of bitter pine flavor upfront with a balance of topical fruit and sweet chewy malts in the finish. Medium body with a nice creaminess to it. I’ve gotten to be a little jaded after drinking so many ipa’s lately but this stands out. Lots of great hop character without going over the top for the style. Bov (5426), Bienne, Switzerland
