Boliv (188), New York, USA Apr 26, 2007 Bottle. Poured golden orange with a decent white head, slow to diminish. Citrus and hops on the nose. Nice hoppy bite, well-balanced, drinkable. I enjoy IPA’s, and this one didn’t disappoint. fattibobatti (246), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Apr 25, 2007 Citrus aroma and taste gives into a desirable bitter bite in the end. For people that anjoy a flowers and bitter citrus taste to IPA. being a man that doesn’t mind bite but would prefer something a little heavier, it gets a 14 overall. JB175 (1654), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 16, 2007 Clear amber color with a pretty large head. Light citrus-flowery aroma. Taste is a bit too bready and sour for my liking - I knocked it down to a "5" on taste, as IPAs should be held to a slightly higher standard than the average ale. Drinkable, but not very good. BREWMUSKCLES (1062), New Jersey, USA Apr 15, 2007 i think glennmastrange said it quite well. although he likes it a little bit more than i do. it is a nice ale. i didn’t get the licorice. jodyperkins (70), Mississippi, USA Apr 13, 2007 Pours a golden color with a nice thick head. Citrus aroma. Very hoppy flavor. Lots of bubbles. glennmastrange (805), hobe sound, Florida, USA Apr 12, 2007 Bottle. Smells of resin and orange are immediately noticable with a hint of licorice. Head has large bubbles (rocky?) and is white with good lacing after it warms. Color is an amber/orange. Taste is a bit mild but fairly balanced; sweet, acidic and bitter. Palate is a nice light to medium body with an oily texture and lively carbonation. Just a little astringent at the end. Not the best, but a very drinkable IPA for all occasions. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Apr 11, 2007 a very flavorful ipa with lots of hop flavor. golden colored, citrus hop aroma which carries into the flavor. slightly bitter finish. jzzbassman (838), New Albany, Mississippi, USA Apr 6, 2007 Pours a dark gold with a wispy head. Aroma is medicinal and slightly citric. Flavor is a touch metallic, well bodied if a bit sweet, but a bit of an astringent finish.
