12oz bottle. Nice hops aroma from the start. A nice malt and hops balance in the taste. A good beer with a nice hop bite that barely creeps in at the end.

Maybe I got a bad batch but this did not resemble any IPA I have ever tasted. The color was a nice clear copper, It had a faint indescribable aroma. No hops, malt or any kind of flavor came through and left a bitter aftertaste. This one does not rate a repeat buy.

Bottle to shaker (pounder). Pours a nice clear amber colour with a moderate foamy white head with moderate lacing. Scent is yeat and earth and hops with lots of activity. Definitely lacking in the hop element to warrant calling it an IPA . Finish is yeast and hops.

Bottled. Nice hoppy smell upon opening. Pours a light brown with a big head at first, bubbles of different sizes climbing up the glass. Taste is hoppy up front, but not heavy. Mostly reminiscent of pineapple, with an orange backbone. Smell while drinking becomes more piney, as befits dry-hopping. Biys of vanilla come around, too.

Malt, fruity aromas, maybe of plum, and a sour aroma. Interesting nose. Appearance is copper-colored with a white head. Palate is standard IPA. Creamy malty start turning into a resiny bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a light orange, with a finger of creamy tan head. Floral bouquet, citrus notes fill the nose. Tastes like orange peels smell, quite well balanced. This is one of the beers that got me into micro’s, and i continue enjoying it.

The snake dog pours out a hazy copper color with a decent head. The aroma was of floral hops. Taste is dry with lots of earthy/floral hop presence and not much else. Thin and not so enjoyable.

Poured out a medium amber color forming a good size whiteish head.. The aroma was of hops and sweet flowers. The taste is of a hint of malts, good hops and flowers. Has a nice medium hop/bite. Not too bad. As a lover of dark beers/ales, I can say these IPA’s are growing on me. Good job Flying Dog!
