Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA (through 2007)

355 ml bottle, 6.4% abv. Crystal clear dark copper colered. Dense lasting near-white cream head. Nice fruity hop aroma; oranges, red berrirs and grapefruit. Taste is dry and clean, fruity, not very malty, with a metallic and light bitter edge. Light-bodied. Crisp mouthfeel. Dry end. Almost very good.

Bottle at Bishops Arms, Järntorget-Göteborg. clear red colour,with a nice creamy head. Aroma has lots of US hopynose,fruity,citrus and flowers. Flavor has a smooth mouth feeling of sweetmaltynes and hops in a nice balance.Thin to medium body and a medium fruity finish.

A- Pours a clear orangish color with a small fizzy head. S- Smell consists mostly of piney hops. T- Starts out with piney hops, moves into a bit of a bland area in the middle and finishes with a slight hop bitterness. M- Medium viscosity with a good amount of carbonation. D- This is an easy drinker. Not the most complex or interesting brew but nothing too offensive about it. I’d drink another.

Bottle. Came in a variety pack of other Flying Dog brews. Pours a brilliant amber white head that uncharacteristically for a Flying Dog stuck around. Strong hop aromas and flavore. But this IPA is somewhat tempered and while earthy in its hop aftertaste, it didnt put me off the style like other over hopped IPA. My 2nd favorite of the 12pk.

This brew pours orange amber colour, with a big fluffy aromatic white head. nicely hopped and well carbonated, strong citrus blend of hops and fruit forward in the finish.

Aroma was floral and resiny, not bad... the flavor however was just all garlic. This one ended up being a little hard to finish. poured clear amber with good lasting dense head. medium body. Can’t get past the garlicy hops.

Reddish amber color with moderate head that has some persistence. Nice lacing. Bready nose with fruity and floral notes. Hoppy taste with significant lacing of citrus. Dry hoppy finish. A good example of an American interpretation of an IPA.

Nice amber pour,thin head but strong and good carbonation.Aroma stonefruit,peach,grapefruit lovely sweet smell caramel notes.Good malty flavour,grapefruit,crisp,mild caramel,honey the bitter is as good as I,ve tasted.Finish bitter dry malt,nice IPA Fling Dog.
