Super floral aroma, tasted bitter but with more restraint than anticipated and there was even some peachy/apricot flavours coursing through this beer, slipped down a treat and was my beer of the evening from the three Flying Dog Beers I had. larsniclas (3386), Gothenburg, Sweden

Real-ale-ish, dark amber look.
A lot of flowery hop-bitterness.
Soft and smooth, though rather lively.
A hoppy flavour with hints of toffee. rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden

Dark amber/Cognac colour. No head. Floral hop aroma, with notes of prune and marshmallows. Smooth hop flavour but not as sweet as the aroma. Rich flavour, reminiscent of a good cognac. ratman197 (3222), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Rerated Aug ’05. Taste and aroma are fresh hops, citrus and pine. A hell of a lot better then I recall it being. Finally an IPA I can find in VT thats very good. blankboy (3207), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 31, 2005 Bottle. Pours a clear dark amber with an average size off-white head. Aroma of fresh fruity hops. Flavour also of fruity hops along with sweet malt. Nothing outstanding or original but it’s an enjoyable thirst-quencher, it tastes good and I could easily down a few of these babies.
