The body was clear with very little carbonation observed. The hue of this beer was orange. The nose was hoppy and citrusy. The lacing was excellent on the sides of my glass. The flavor was very hoppy and bitter from start to finish and the bitterness lingered. The mouthfeel was tingly on my tongue. TomDecapolis (3174), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

Amber ale with frothy head. Full maltiness and intense grassy dryness. I really enjoyed this one! RichardGretton (3149), Leicestershire, England

Nice thick, lacy head and a thick, cloudy orange appearance. Hoppy flavor - but not too overpowering - makes for a strong finish. Finished with my mixed six of Flying Dog - overall - not a bad group of brews so far. hughie (3061), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 26, 2007 Amber with a small off-white head. Hop aroma with pine and a developing background of sweet caramel. The caramel also present in the taste, with some orangey fruit, but the whole rather swamped, in my opinion, by the sharp hoppiness. Clear light orange color with two fingers of foamy of white head that laced the glass. Sprucy, flowery hop aroma and flavor. There is also a hint of grape candy and malty toffee. Hop bitterness is lacking a bit.
