Bottle. Clear copper with a small head. Nice hoppy aroma with grapefruit and apples in the lead. Also a hint of raisins. sweet maltiness initially to be countered by steadily more pronounced bitterness. Citrus flavours are predominant. Medium body, rather flat. Highly enjoyable IPA that is just a bit too weak to receive standing ovations.

(Rating #258)

Deeply golden/amber with a frothy head. Nice lace patterns. Nose is sweet (sugared milk aroma). Moderate body; medium carbonation. Roasty-toasty malts with only a little residual sweetness; decent backbone. Nice hop flavors (very grassy, flowery, herbal) and decent aromas (even a hint of yeast), but it was lacking complexity. Healthy bitterness in the finish. Hops seem to dry out the mouth a bit. Kind of stark in the aftertaste (mostly grass). Lesser notes of pine and lemon were nice, but I yearned for more complexity. Fairly easy to drink, aside from a rough-edged hop aftertaste.

Orange copper, aromas of grapefruit citrus and floral perfume. Nicely hopped palate with floral elememts dominating. A sharper finish than what I like (the hop character starts to get you in the nose after a while), but very good regardless.

This beer poured out into a white head and clear light copper color. The aroma is of strong citrus hops. The taste is instant hop bitterness that rounds out with a bit of harsh hop flavor in the finish. There is some malt sweetness and a little bread like yeast flavor that balance out a great IPA flavor. I really like the flavor. The finish feels dry with a bit of a lingering sour/bitter flavor. An excellent IPA. To me this is a good everyday beer.

Bottle labelled 4.7%abv. Pours red amber with a slick of fine white suds. Tempting perfume of Turkish Delight and orange, becoming increasingly leafy and nettle-like as it warms. Chewy, floral and uncompromisingly bitter, with a grapefruit punch and trace of biscuity malt. Big hop character at the strength. Very tasty, pungently bitter IPA.

Aroma is mostly floral. Pours a lightly hazy gold. Flavor is pretty clean and somewhat under whelming. Notes of perfumey hops, pine, a little earth, and light caramel malt. I would call this an introductory IPA, as it would be a nice one to start getting used to the somewhat acquired taste of hoppy beers. Finishes clean. Is pleasant.

This is such an incredibly good IPA and I love the label art. A bit of a change in the hops and malt dept, the imported malt, in my opinion gives it a really different character in flavor. Has all the same fruity and citrus hints and overall has a nice light clean finish.
