Bright amber colour. Citrusy, woody aroma with some caramel notes. Soft caramelly malts on the palate back up bright mango, orange, wood and pamplemousse notes. Mild, but well-structured with interesting, bright flavours.

Well, I guess that the aroma is not as much strong, the beer has some light mint character and is not too much impressive.

Light amber color, creamy head. Strong aroma, hoppy, strong hop flowers, mango, apricots, caramel. Smooth, malt and caramel, hoppy fruitness, well mixed with the others. Very good hop fruity final, but shorter than usual. Finally, a good and easy to drink IPA, less aggressive than many others.

Coppery with a decent head. Good floral hop aroma, and decent chewy hop flavor. Nothing spectacular, but I’d do fine if this was all I had in the fridge (like that would ever happen).

On Tap at the Flying Dog Brewery Tap, Denver 12/10/2007 (Hopped with Warrior & Columbus ABV 6.4%) Very hoppy and fruity aroma. Clear golden coloured and very hoppy with a citrus fruit flavour. Crisp and bitter malt finish.

Bottled. Clear amber color, small creamy off-white head. Very intensive cut grass -hoppy aroma. Fresh cut grass -type hoppy flavor is dominating too. Hops are there everywhere, but suprisingly aftertaste is quite short. Slightly out of balance, as does not have enough malts to backup hoppyness.

Bottle from Utobeer. Amber, lasting beige head. Certainly more aggressively hoppy than the Doggie Style Pale Ale I had just before. Far more toffee in this, better balanced, better malts to offset the fairly harsh hop. Not excessive, but harsh. Good bitterness. Smoother, more grown up than the pale ale. Oddly English. I think due to the strength. You could see Thornbridge Hall making this beer. Mature.

The color is incredibly nice, warm amber and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma is lovely, aromatic and fruity hoppy and the flavour has light notes of caramel, lots of aromatic hops, fruity citrus, mostly grapefruit, light hints of resin and a nice bitterness, that develops slightly dry in the long finish! A really nice IPA!! 2449
