| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 9, 2008 Pours a clear copper color with an ample white head. Sweet smell of apricots, grapefruit, bubblegum. Loads of carbonation with a medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Mostly sweet malt taste with an herbal hop taste here.
Pretty unique flavor for a pale ale, more in the English style.
I’ll buy this again MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 15, 2002 Very floral scent. Lots of fruit noticeable in the very hops, tart and grapefruit-ish. Nice finish, hops stick around, but no real malts as a balancer. Decent body, a mite creamy, but nothing exceptional. tronraner (1938), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 23, 2006 Bottle. Pours clear copper with small white head. The aroma is bread and grapefruit with a little bit of sap. The flavor is pleasantly bitter with some bread and earth. However, the body is a little too thin to support the bitterness well. If you are trying to introduce someone to IPA's this would be a good starting point as its like an IPA with training wheels. Kevin (1920), Colorado, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 5, 2004 bottle. pours a cloudy light brown amber color with a thick white head that leaves rings as i drink. aroma is the expected grapefruit hop smell. taste is like an ipa light. watered down flavor. everything i expect from an ipa but on a reduced scale. i dislike the finish, it leaves a sourness behind that is unpleasant. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 1, 2006 12 oz bottle. Clear gold with a foamy white head. Nice nose - flowery hop, a tinge of pine. Medium bitter, floral and dry pepper. A servicable IPA, just not spectacular. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Aug 10, 2007 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Golden coloured beer with no head. The aroma is dominated by resinous hops. Feels a fairly thick body but with very little malt or sweetness to balance out harsh bitterness in the finish. Astringent. Poor.
