Juicy hop aromas are lemon & pine, rather sweet with a touch of spicy rye and a general feeling of powdered instant tea. Flavor is a cozy melange of sweet, sour and bitter and the whole of it is balanced and well-tempered by malts. There is a touch of nuttiness to a base of bitter tea before a finish that is bitter and citric. Light stickiness and mid-bodied weight. This is the kind of IPA that I could drink all day.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 22, 2005 It’s an ok beer, but that is it. Has a bit a funk to it that throws the beer off a bit. Does have some floral characteristics to it, but that can’t save this beer. jeffc666 (1895), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 2, 2004 Clear orange body with foamy white head. Very slight citrus aroma. Nothing special so far. Flavor is medium bitter with a wee bit of malt, but not much. Body is watery-medium-light. Not much going on here. A run-of-the –mill beer. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

The IBU range must have been a little bit lower than say Pyramid’s. I tend not to like the bittering hops much, but this beer was tolerable. Beerdedone (1885), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 12, 2002 I really didn’t find too much enjoyment from this IPA. Not enough hoppy burst. My mouth waters at the thought of an IPA, and this just didn’t accomplish it’s goal. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 31, 2001 Respectable but not overly-impressive IPA. Enjoyable, just didn’t quite carry enough character or hops. Worth a try at least for IPA fans but don’t rush out and buy it.
