Oct 17, 2006 Bottle: A maltier than usual IPA, the hoppiness is there, but competes with the malt. Some floral hops are present, just a bit of citrus, but not more than a medium in intensity. A bit too much malt for my taste in an IPA.

May 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours amber with medium white head. Good hoppy aroma with fresh fruits and grass dominating. Flavour is hoppy too but it lacks the freshness. Dry bitter end.

Sep 30, 2007 Cobber of color with a off-white head. An aroma of pines, hops and notes of malt. A flavor of hops, pines and grape.

Nov 19, 2003 mmm a good tasting nice IPA. i would have to say that it is better than the 3.15 it gets, but thats just me. rating from a bottle, had it in a glass the other night but didnt feel like rating. i think this is good, and ive yet to really be disappointed by a flying dog ale.

Jul 20, 2007 Bottle. Amber color with a nice white head. Strong aroma with hops and citrus notes. Medium body with a bitter and citrus flavor. Bitter palate with strong notes of hops and a light citrus note.

Dec 17, 2006 Broadway brewing used to brew this beer for the Flying Dog brewpub but now the Flying Dog is brewing & bottling themselves but the taste is the same - strong hops to start and finish what else would expect with an IPA? Good carbonation and head.

Mar 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours orange with an off white head. Aroma is sweet citrus, and caramel. Reminds me off the dish-soap my girlfriend uses. Medium/thin body. Flavor is grapefruit rind and other citrus. Not bad i guess.

Apr 1, 2004 Medium sized offwhite head, good retention and a light stringy lace. Clear amber/copper color. Spicey/flowery hop nose, the malt being evident also. Med.light body. Mainly malt flavors, grainy with a touch of astringency. Light hop flavors. Finish is medium dry with a mild earthyness.
