May 31, 2005 Color like a maple leaf in Autumn. Little head. Sour aroma with some butter and vegetables and a hint of spicy and citrus hops. Make me wonder. But surprise, surprise. Big ’ol body with flavor like a toned down barley wine. Prominent caramel flavor backed by harmonious hop combination and a pleasant lingering bitterness.

Jul 10, 2002 Golden in color, no head. Grapefruity citrus aroma. Nice fruity and malty flavor, and, again, some citrusy taste. Immediate aftertaste has a very nice hop bite to it, yet it lingers just a tad too long. Medium carbonation. Decent.

Sep 16, 2007 Updated: May 15, 2009Bottle... Poured a clear golden color with a frothy white head. Sweet, malt and hop aroma. This IPA had sweet, tangy, fruity (apricots and citrus), yeasty, grainy, and chalky flavors. With a mild bitter hop finish. This is a really good brew.

Jan 31, 2003 Smells of pears and flowers, but tastes more like grapefruits and other citrus flavors. Of course, there are hops too, as all IPA's have, but they are weak, and they're not really all that great in this beer.

Jun 9, 2006 Bottle. Nice golden yellowish color, with a full body. Fruity, and very hoppy. A pretty standard IPA.

Jan 3, 2008 Bottled. Golden ruby colour with a thin tan head and medium lacing. Strange aroma for IPA of caramel and cotton candy. Flavour was grapefruit hoppy, a little pine but the finish was flat bitterness and hung on forever.

Jun 7, 2007 Red orange color with small white creamy head. Sweet malt smell, a little doughyness, small with very little hop aroma. Body is pretty full and creamy. Taste nice malty, pine hops, caramel, nicely balanced. I wasn’t expecting much, but was presently surprised.
