Feb 14, 2004 Golden amber color with a small off white head. Aroma is sweet with a hint of pineapple and hops. Flavor starts lightly sweet followed by some grapefruit and pine and finishing dry and orange peel bitter. Palate a bit thin, but I wouldn't kick it out of bed.

May 22, 2005 this beer shocked me. It was not a good IPA at ALL. It was very bland almost no hop flavor at all. Flying dog comes up way short

Jan 21, 2007 I really don’t have time for this beer. Every time I so much as think about pouring it into my glass, the glass is overflowing, the bottle is overflowing, my mousepad is wringing wet. Is this stuff spoiled? It’s local to my stores, so it shouldn’t be.
Aroma is citrusy, earthy. Hazy orange. Fair lacing. Taste of grapefruit and a hint of caramel malt background. It doesn’t taste spoiled. I need a new mousepad.

May 24, 2008 Flaske. Fin citrus duft på en klar lys ravfarvet øl. Smagen er domineret af bitterhed allerede i starten, hvilket gør at den bliver noget endimensionel og kedelig. Det eneste andet der svagt kommer frem er en smule malt. Ikke så vellykket, men kan dog drikkes.

Apr 8, 2008 Pours a nice clear copper color with no head. Mild aroma of hops with some floral. Taste is mild hops with citrus. Not a sharp bite and not a sharp contrast with the citrus.

Nov 10, 2003 Nice pour out of the glass produced a clear amber/copper color with a lacing off white head. Aroma just sprung of hops. The taste was kind of lacking. Some hops and mild floral taste, but could have more to be a top 10 IPA. Ovearall not bad though.

Mar 19, 2008 Updated: Dec 31, 2008<i>(4,7% abv- label)</i> Orangey amber with thick pale head. Nose has nutty maltiness with piney & flowery hops. Flavor fully malty and crisply hopped. Medium bodied, round and smooth mouthfeel. Perhaps not that complex, but truly an ideal session IPA. ( 8/4/8/4/16)
Re-rate: Had it a few times after the first rating. Pretty basic piney hoppiness, some nuttiness and toffee malts. A tad metallic and stuffy, though drank far before BBE. Pretty average after all. (6/4/7/3/14)

Nov 15, 2006 12oz bottle. Nice hops aroma from the start. A nice malt and hops balance in the taste. A good beer with a nice hop bite that barely creeps in at the end.
