Bottle. Medium high off-white lasting head. Clear bobber body. Sweet and fruity aroma. apple pears) . Dry and spicy and hoppy smoooth and well rounded flavor. Alcohol percentage seems just just right for this beer. Low carbonation. Long dry and yet smoot bitter aftertaste. Pleasant surprise.

Draft @ Flying Dog: Hazy orange-amber color with an off-white head. Big hoppy aroma with citrus and piney notes. Some sweet malt shows through underneath. Citrusy and piney flavor with enough malt to back it up. Not too bad. Tasted pretty fresh on the hop side.

Bottled. Poured clear lighter golden with rising carbonation and an explosive cap of off-white head (we’re talkin’ 90% of the glass!). The aroma was a touch dusty and medicinal with sharp lemon zesty notes over dry bready notes and pale malts.. didn’t really come together. The flavor was along those same lines.. sour to the point of being unbalanced.. mostly pale malts at the core with light floral bitterness around.. warmth brough about more sweetness, but also sharp medicinal notes on the back-end. Medium-bodied with lots of carbonation and lots of sourness on the palate.. rough, unpleasant feel. I’m hoping that this was just an off bottle.

Bottle (12oz). Poured cloudy, bubbly light orange with a decent foamy off-white head - nice sticky lacing. Nice solid aroma of west coast citrus (and pine resin) hops and a nice fruity sweetish malt backing - simple but appealing. Flavour of moderately bitter grapefruit hops, some apricot malt, a longish bitter finish - the taste isn’t as sweet as the nose. Mouthfeel quite astringent, average IPA body, on the flat side. An acceptable if somewhat pedestrian US IPA.

Medium orange color. Medium head. Aroma is citrusy hops, slightly floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are nutty and slightly sweet, with a touch of fruit. Hops are bitter and grapefruity. Touch of orange peel. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter.

Bottle. Dark amber, small off white head. Very little aroma, touch of hops and alcohol. Nice bitterness but the hops are kind of one dimensional, not a lot of flavour from them Could use more malt to balance the malt in my humble opinion. Some more finishing hops might be in order, but this may have been an older bottle as well. Average palate.

This brew poured a medium sized head of fine white bubbles that left a good lacing and a tranparent softly carbonated light brown body. It has a medium strength hop aroma and a strong bite to its hoppy IPA flavor. Its mouthfeel is tingly initially then smoothens in its finish.
