Still a good IPA.
Original Rating 6/7/02: Pineapple aroma. Strong citrus flavors throughout. A little too hoppy for my tastes but true to style. Cool label. Diego (79), San Diego, California, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 21, 2002 Sipping as I write. Let’s see..Nice sweet peppery smell, beautiful amber color, slight semi sweet flavor. Delicious really. Strong, punget bite to it. Just what I was hoping for. This is a rather inexpensive way to enjoy a traditional IPA. No foolin’ around, look at the ratings and feel satisfied in the fact that this is a solid IPA. Not the best but a solid placement. ghawener (953), San Salvador, El Salvador
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Feb 8, 2006 Bottle: Deep amber/red colour, aroma is spicy with notes of nutmeg, pepper, woody. Great surprising complex taste, each sips starts sweet and finishes with strong bitter kick; everything from fruits to pepper are present. Ibrew2or3 (2724), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 7, 2006 Updated: May 13, 2007This beer poured out into a white head and clear light copper color. The aroma is of strong citrus hops. The taste is instant hop bitterness that rounds out with a bit of harsh hop flavor in the finish. There is some malt sweetness and a little bread like yeast flavor that balance out a great IPA flavor. I really like the flavor. The finish feels dry with a bit of a lingering sour/bitter flavor. An excellent IPA. To me this is a good everyday beer. PHXHOPLOVER (50), LAVEEN, Arizona, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 13, 2006 This is one of my favorite ipas. Pours orange, slightly hazy. Leaves nice lace all down the side of the glass. Perfect level of smooth bitterness. Just enough body so it isnt too dry. This beer is all about hop flavor! I love the hop flavor here. I was so happy to see that you have the hop varieties they use here so i can use these hops in my beer!! It says this is a traditional ipa, but it seems more American to me. Very west coast hop profile. LordCorkscrew (945), Ronco Scrivia (GE), Italy

Comunque stavolta ero abituato all’amaro, non mi ha dato alcun problema: anzi. Stratosferica cathcacr (588), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Mar 30, 2005 A big, pungent IPA that outdoes most of the rest in the field. Lessee, there’s Stone, then Hop Devil and Hop Ottin’ and then this. Pay no attention to the 3.1whatever average rating. (Maybe I just had an exceptionally good bottle?) This is definitely for IPA lovers; it’s got that resiny(?) feel and stickiness that comes with a lot of I2PAs nowadays. Pungent, sticky aftertaste, gotta love it. Hard-hitting stuff, not for non-hop-freaks, which may explain its ridiculously low average score on this site. The Etruscan (306), Tuscany, Italy
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 24, 2007 Off white creamy full lasting head. Slightly cloudy amber colour.
Aroma is complex with fruity (peach and banana, citrus), floral (rose) and spicy (pepper) notes.
Flavor is malty, fruity with floral tones, ending in a moderately fruity finish quickly turning in a bitter one. Medium bodied.
