Way more hops bitterness than expected but was pleasantly surprised. A thoroughly enjoyable IPA.

From a 12 oz bottle this poured a rich and very clear deep amber with a thick off-white head that left great lacing. Nose is seriously hoppy and full of citrus odors. Mourthfeel rich and clean. Flavors of caramel malts nicely balanced with the citrus hops. Good bitter finish. Excellent IPA.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Beautiful, clear amber with a small, white head. Incredibly lovely aroma hops in the nose with the Chinook really shining through. Rather light body with vague notes of caramel malt. But completely dominated by the great hops, that also leave an immense bitterness. 291205

Bottle from Utobeer. Amber, lasting beige head. Certainly more aggressively hoppy than the Doggie Style Pale Ale I had just before. Far more toffee in this, better balanced, better malts to offset the fairly harsh hop. Not excessive, but harsh. Good bitterness. Smoother, more grown up than the pale ale. Oddly English. I think due to the strength. You could see Thornbridge Hall making this beer. Mature.

Bottle, 4.7%abv. Amber beer w a small biege head. Aromas of pineapple, grapefruit and flowery. Tastes piney, resinous, floral, grapefruit, lots and lots of bitterness and some sweet malty backbone. Finishes more bitter, some caramelmalt and very fruity. This style grows on me more and more! Lovely.
