Light golden color with thick lacy head. Caramel malty hop aroma. Sweet malty body and hop balance with a touch of earthiness. Sticky dry woody finish. This is the best Flying Dog beer I've had.

Hazy orange with floaties and a dense creamy white head. Smells like oranges, apricots, and hops. Tastes like oranges, apricots and herbs. Very nice hoppy finish, classic for an IPA.

[Bottle shared with svoger.] Nice american IPA over average to many others, but compared to other americans it’s just mainstream.

Pours copper with little head that fades quick. Big floral/citrus aroma. Initial light malt taste fades to a big grapefruit finish. Maybe I got lucky, but thought this deserves better than a 3.1.

This IPA had a malty aroma instead of the floral or forest aromas I ususally detect. Darker golen color with good carbination and lacing left on the glass. Cool and crisp like most hop driven IPA’s. Good belch at the end. Good Stuff.

355 ml bottle. Clear, golden orange body with a dense off-white head. Sweet and heavy hoppy/citrus + hay aroma. Flavor has a sharp, prompt bitterness, giving a dry feeling even realizing this is a quite sweet beer. Balanced but not much malt flavor here.

I enjoyed this beer, perhaps it coule use a little more strength to it on the malt side. A nice aroma and hoppyness

12 oz. bottle from sampler...pours a gentle opaque copper-orange with a near-perfect head, slow in dissipation...hints of pine fight with an overpowering hops aroma...crunchy (?), sharp warmth on the tongue--but services the whole tongue, thus balancing on an IPA tightrope...warm aftertaste; hops in effect, but more yielding than the aroma would indicate (unlike the alcohol?)...a serviceable IPA--reflects their pale ale in its balance...
